Election Day 2020 Gratitude: Grateful for the Right to Vote, Grateful to be Alive to Vote

Spread the love

On the eve of Election Day 2020, I find myself being extremely grateful that I live in a country where I have the right to have an opinion, to speak my mind, and where I have the right to vote for the people who govern and lead that country.

In 2020, I also can’t help but feel grateful to be alive to exercise that right to vote. At the start of 2020 there were more than 200,000 people who thought they would be alive to vote on November 3rd too, but unfortunately COVID-19 had other thoughts.

Grateful Right Vote Gratitude Alive Voting President Joe Biden

I vote in the 2020 Election because I never want to take my freedom to vote for granted. I vote in the 2020 Election because I never want to take my life for granted. I vote in the 2020 Election for the candidates who believe that every vote should count and every life has value.

Today I am grateful for the American right to vote. And tomorrow I will be grateful for the American President Joe Biden.
